If you have any doubt about my pictures, licensing and others, I’ve prepared this FAQ for you. It is based on the several questions I often receive. If some question you may have is not responded here, feel free to contact me and I’ll be ready to help.

  1. Can I put a link on my website to patricia-ariel.com?
Yes, since your website is not destined to promote anything bad. And when I talk bad, I mean: racism, homophobia, intolerance, harmful habits, acts against life, stuff like that. Feel free to use one of my banners, if you wish. I will be glad if you let me know.

  2. Can I take one or more of your images to put on my website / making tags-tubes / avatars / whatever?
Sure, as long as you do it for non-profit purposes or for your personal use. But please, don't modify the picture - distorting it, changing its colors, applying photoshop filters. Resize it adequately, preserving its correct proportions. You can add borders, crop them or apply sparkles and glitters - with good sense, please. The name and copyright character Patricia Ariel" must be present in each piece or page where my artwork is displayed. And, although it's not a rule, I'd really appreciate if you add a link to my site.

  3. Can I make my own graphics with your images?
For personal use only. For distribution, please contact me, since there's a fee to be paid per image.

  4. Can I take one of your images to illustrate my writings / articles?
Please contact me first. I may agree if it's an online and non-profit writing, but I'd like to analyze it and see if my illustration will fit. Otherwise, I charge a fee per image. You can also order a commissioned work for such purposes.

  5. Can I use your images on my freeware software?
If the software will be distributed to the public, I charge a fee per image. Please contact me.

  6. Can I use one of your images as a logo?
No, you can't use any of my images with commercial/promotional purposes.
